Accommodation Businesses, Motels , B and B's...

Someone ...
.... was asking me about Motels, and Accommodation Businesses. Is it a good idea to buy one, maybe, and have a good lifestyle with some income ? ... live where other people have their holidays ?... yeah, definitely a good idea!
What about the cost ? Most Bed and Breakfasts cost a lot of money to buy. I know, but taking into account the return on investment, and the fact that you have no travel cost yourself driving to work in this high petrol cost environment, and the potential to improve the property and business in time to a value added commodity all speak for it. I would buy the BEST I can afford.... as it is a more longterm idea and you don't want to end up in a dead end area where it takes years to move on again...
So where do you find the good ones?
