Accommodation Businesses, Motels , B and B's...

Someone ...
.... was asking me about Motels, and Accommodation Businesses. Is it a good idea to buy one, maybe, and have a good lifestyle with some income ? ... live where other people have their holidays ?... yeah, definitely a good idea!
What about the cost ? Most Bed and Breakfasts cost a lot of money to buy. I know, but taking into account the return on investment, and the fact that you have no travel cost yourself driving to work in this high petrol cost environment, and the potential to improve the property and business in time to a value added commodity all speak for it. I would buy the BEST I can afford.... as it is a more longterm idea and you don't want to end up in a dead end area where it takes years to move on again...
So where do you find the good ones?

I've got a friend in Germany

A few month ago I got some emails from people in Germany asking how to go about getting a place in Australia or New Zealand, if one wants to stay a little longer than the average tourist, and, also have a sense of "homeliness" instead of living in motels or rented accommodation. The idea was for them to buy (is it possible? YES...) a place that they really like, and where they like it, in a great place with inspiring people and places to see and things to do and so on..... Now of course there are great websites for that, and one of course is www.prosale.biz . Then I had requests for selling places in germany, and Europe, Austria, can that be done online ? Self service without the agent commissions ? They call it "provision". No we don't want to charge commission or provision. We want to keep it free. Why ? Its' easy to do it free as a fun thing to do. I like designing websites and set up sites that work automatic, so it's customer driven and operated, just liek this blog... its great! This guy was looking for a house in New Zealand.....

Hi again, I met this guy yesterday, he was telling me his son had graduated , yep, so he was telling me he wanted to buy him a house!, can you believe it? ........wished I had a dad that bought me a house... so he was asking me to tell him how to find a good website for homes for sale.... now, that was easy, because I happened to MAKE ONE, he,he..... he thought it was funny :-) so I send him to www.prosale.co.nz and he thought that was a great site after I met him again a few weeks later, so maybe you can use it too? DID YOU KNOW ? .... some people go house sitting. What is it? They stay at someone's house to help them if they go on a holiday and have pets, or garden needs watering etc........ for security, peace of mind etc. Sounds like fun.. Now a friend was asking: HOW do you find these people? Can you trust them? Does it cost any money? so many questions, so I simply sent him to the House sitter website of course. Was looking to find a car, and find out how much $$$ my old car would fetch, so here I was searching Google and found a few sites, great. What I noticed is that usually they charge a fee for advertising and thought I could make up a site and offer free ads for the car sellers... and here I was typing in code and setting design elements... pronto, a new site was created: www.carsell.biz
